Faculty input requested for social media engagement
As the start of the fall semester draws near, University Marketing Communications staff members are looking to inform incoming students about items they need to bring to campus to assist with their educational success.
Specifically, UMC is striving to compile a list of the top 10 items students should remember to bring to campus from a faculty member's perspective. If you know of something that’s typically forgotten that should be included on our list, let us know. We look forward to including your input in an upcoming social media post as we strive to help Lumberjacks begin their best semester yet. Email your ideas to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Victory for two Olympic runners, Abbey D’Agostino from the U.S. and Nikki Hamblin of New Zealand, resulted a little differently than expected yesterday, after the two collided and fell in the women’s 5,000 meter event.
The collision injured D’Agostino and when Hamblin noticed, she chose to stay with her competitor. After encouraging each other all the way to the finish line, both women were allowed to advance to the finals because of their good sportsmanship. Read more about their story here.
