Faculty, staff members invited to attend video conference with Brandon Busteed
SFA’s Rusche College of Business is hosting a live video conference with Brandon Busteed, executive director of education and workforce development at Gallup, at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the McGee Business Building, Room 133.
Busteed’s work at Gallup has focused on innovated metrics of university performance based upon the well being of graduates. A Q&A session will be included in the event. While questions from the audience will be accepted, questions can be submitted in advance.

University Women’s Club to host social event tonight
The University Women’s Club invites faculty and staff members to a social event from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at The Liberty Bell in downtown Nacogdoches. Guests are invited to visit with UWC friends and make new acquaintances. Attendees are welcome to come and go as they please.

Nominations being accepted for annual President’s Achievement Award
Nominations are being accepted for the annual President’s Achievement Award, which is presented to two non-exempt and two exempt staff members during the employee service awards ceremony held in April.
Administrators, faculty members, supervisors and coworkers may make nominations (student workers are not eligible).
Nominations are due no later than Friday, March 3. To obtain a copy of the nomination form and for more information, contact Judy Eddings, human resources specialist, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Athletics prepares for 2017 National Signing Day
Tireless efforts made by SFA football coaches on the recruiting trail will culminate tomorrow during this year's National Signing Day. SFA’s head football coach Clint Conque will introduce the newest members of the Lumberjack family at his signing-day press conference at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in SFA's Field House.
Full signing-day media coverage will be provided beginning early tomorrow when commits begin signing and returning National Letters of Intent. Once received and verified by SFA's compliance office, new Lumberjacks will be announced on Twitter and Facebook with the hashtag #SwingTheAxe. Full bios and rosters also will be available on the signing day page.
Wind Ensemble presents Winter Tour concert tonight
SFA’s Wind Ensemble will present its annual Winter Tour concert of band music at 7:30 p.m. tonight in Turner Auditorium on campus.
“This concert is the final stop on our Winter Tour,” said Fred J. Allen, director of bands at SFA and of the Wind Ensemble. “We will perform at five East Texas schools before returning to SFA.”

This year’s Super Bowl is scheduled to kick off at 5:30 p.m. Sunday. If you plan on attending a Super Bowl party and need a conversation starter or two, it might not hurt to brush up on this “big game” trivia.
